This is a high quality Professional/Orchestral Violin and has a really good tone and clear sound new quality strings fitted. As we know strings are very much a personal choice suited to the player. These are good quality but, no doubt, the tone would be improved with really top quality strings. The tone and sound is far better however than it's age related appearance The size of this Instrument is:- Body: 36 cm. Total length 60 cm (not including the end button) The Violin was probably made in Germany at the end of 19th century or early 20th century and shipped to London for retail by John D Murdock & Co, Ltd. The bow is of equal quality too. The original wooden case is totally functional but has undergone some minor renovation work to protect the instrument. The Violin has been carefully cleaned, inspected and set up ready for immediate use. The hair on the bow is in good condition too. Personal viewing is recommended but will post. Please be aware, the P&P is not included in the asking price and does not include transportation insurance. The Violin is however in a very strong wooden case to give it maximum protection. Make me a reasonable offer and you may be surprised. Musical instruments are not usually covered for transit insurance by Couriers therefore collection is always recommended for this instrument. If that is not feasible then the violin is and will be sent with the sound post and bridge in position but transportation may dislodge, move or damage these. While every care will be taken to pack this violin for transportation, in buying this instrument the buyer assumes responsibility for this eventuality and returns for transit damage will not be accepted by the seller. Full size violin with case; vintage European origin (Stradvarius reproduction)

Full size violin with hardened case. Not had chance to have it valued/ provenance checked but from label I believe it to be vintage European possible German Stradivarius copy. In good condition with all parts intact although varnish a little damaged; ebony/ opal trims and I think silver screw on bow. Shoulder rest also included. Would make good first violin for adult or older child; due to being mid house move not had chance to have it valued but could be restored and sold for alot more.
