I am selling my Orange head and cab. Bought as a pair new in for £. Now discontinued by Orange. The amp and cab are in full working order - recently serviced by JPF amps on Denmark Street. The head is the Thundeverb 200w - all valve. Two channel with attenuator so you can crank the amp without having it at ridiculous volumes. The amp also has the choice to be run at 100w or 200w. There are 4, 8 or 16 ohm outputs for the cab. It runs on 4x valves & 4x 12AX7s. This amp can handle both bass and regular electric guitar. It's a killer sounding amp but I am selling due to downsizing. The cab is a PPC412HP (HP for high powered) This cab is kitted out with 4 top of the range 100w Celestion G12K speakers and has 8 and 16 ohm inputs. As you can see from the photos this amp has been toured and some of the tolex on both the amp and cab has been damaged but both are in fine structural and full working order. Bought both the TH30 head and PPC212 open back cabinet brand new 12 months ago and have only used them at practice twice and never gigged, so basically brand new. I'm Looking to sell as I have recently moved into third floor flat and so need to downsize. Going to downsize to a Orange TH30 combo so definitely recommend this amp! The TH30's Clean Channel features a Gain, Shape and Master Volume. The shape control is an EQ control facilitating a variety of tones from classic rock through to scooped metal with all variations in between. The power section of the TH30 is powered by a quartet of EL84 output valves and is rated at 30 Watts Class A. There is also the addition of a valve driven effects loop.
