I bought this bike in May and have used it once for about 2 hours. Since then I have had a back injury and just been diagnosed with Osteoporosis so unfortunately no more off road adventures for me. The bike is basically as new. A great buy for somebody, saving £400 off the list price. Size is XL, I am 6 feet tall, inside leg of 32" Specification. Long and lean, mean and keen. Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp Evo Mountain Bike for

Hi there, Sadly I having to sell my Specialized Stumpjumper FSR Comp Evo due to a move abroad. I've really enjoyed this bike and have ridden some great trails on it including Glentress, Fort William and Morzine. I've always been really impressed at how well this bike handles rough downhill trails considering it's an XC bike. The 150mm dual-air revelations forks are in excellent condition (regularly serviced) and coupled with the Fox RP2 rear shock you can even send it down the Fort William world cup track pretty comfortably. Being an XC bike it's great for general riding/cross country routes and it excellent uphill in terms of handling, especially when using the pro-pedal valve on the rear shock (Fox RP2) which allows more of your hard pedalling work to go towards climbing rather than it being lost in the shock compressions as you pedal. The avid hydraulic disk brakes are responsive/reliable and have never failed me to date, even on very steep long descents where some of my previous bike's brakes have boiled leaving me in a pretty scary situation. There is some general wear and tear on the bike such as a couple of scratches from rocks bouncing up on trails, but apart from that the bike is in a very good condition having been regularly serviced. I'm also that kind of geeky rider that after every ride will spends 30 mins cleaning with a toothbrush and re-lubing all the important bits of the bike so it's ready for the next ride. I will replace the chain rings, cassette and chain prior to sale, along with a professional service, to ensure the bike is in tip-top condition and ready for you to ride away and have fun. Another feature I forgot to mention is the rock shox reverb seat post which I upgraded the bike to have. It allows you to drop and raise the seat post hydraulically using a remote on the handle bars. When you're enjoying the flow of a trail the last thing you want is to get off the bike and manually lower your saddle before a downhill section and then get off and raise it for the uphill. I've really enjoyed this flexibility. Lastly, I've included a few suggested searches below so you can read more about the bike.
