For sale I have an Olympus OM-D E-M1, with a few extras. The camera it is in very good condition, inspected by Olympus in July 16 and not much used since. The front of the camera is in excellent, as new condition. There are two tiny scratches on the thump grip and some paint missing on the hotshoe -please, see photos. THe camera is in fully operational condition, with no issues at all. Also includes the HLD-7 handgrip (this is only available in black so not silver like the main body). Has a couple of minor marks on the bottom of the camera where I set it down but looking at it from any other angle it looks brand new. Also additional 3rd party spare battery inlcuded. Stunning performer and when used with the pro lenses, out-resolves my previous favourite camera, a 22MP Canon 5D mark II with L glass even though it has lower MPs. This is down to better value glass (I've fallen in love with the Olympus pro lenses; incredible quality in a robust, light weight package costing much less than the equivalent full frame lenses) and the lack of an anti-aliasing filter which the canon has and softens the image. The couple new sensor / new processor of data processing proves to be quite effective in high ISOs for Jpeg images. You will more hesitate to push the device to or even ISO. Higher sensitivities, however, show the limits of the system equipped with a smaller than APS - C sensor. In this area, the progress made by Olympus are remarkable. The most demanding would not hesitate to enter for best "top roping" on computer, such as Lightroom and Dxo Optics Pro raw files to make the most of the images. In addition, the E - M1 is IOC first, Olympus have a sensor without low-pass filter. We win then in accuracy compared to the E - M5 - is quite subtle - and moiré effects are finally visible. e zoom mm f/ tested with E - M1 is certainly not the brightest - you can return you to the mm f/2.8 constant for this-, but it offers interesting with a good nose-general versatility, distortion corrected to the fly (Jpeg), an interesting macro mode, a detachable manual focus ring and a power zoom perfect for video. What more? In addition to the aspects of pique and correction of electronic noise, Olympus offers a series of interesting artistic filters with which it is possible to mix borders with partial bends or dense monochrome images. The whole is aesthetically rather successful and eyeing the side retro established by Instagram on social networks, but whose Olympus is precursor with the first filters presented in on the E-30 DSLR.
