Hi we have a liver cocker spaniel she is nine years old and 3 months.i had her off my mum as her partner became ill and she could no longer keep her and we really really did not want it to come to thisbut she does not get on with my other dogs at all.so whoever she goes to can not have any other dogs or cats.she is very much a people dog she loves people and is brilliant with children and just loves human company. Due to sad loss of both our beloved girls last year in very close period of time we are looking for another old spaniel to join our family home. I have tried to bond with another breed of dog and i just cant be without my frilly spangle ears and sniffy noses. Our dogs sleep in bed with us & have roam of the house. I am home most of the time and have a 6 & 2yr old child- however both are very loving and gentle with animals and always always was respectful of our ederly dogs.. i have never seen nor would allow my children to annoy any animal. And their gentleness with dogs must be seen to appreciate it. We have a large back garden and regular walks, or not so regular if the spangle is very old and is happier sat on the sofa by the fire.
