It’s pretty old and has many little scratches and stains – particularly on the desk surface as you’d expect but basically a nice solid little piece of furniture. The marks never bothered us but it could easily be polished up or painted if you like a more pristine style! im not sure what period it is from, if any, i loved it and used it for a while, though i think i was had at £, but i really did like it. no longer in use, need the space. lock works but does not lock - the gap is too big (see picture before last), the keye catches a tad but works, a screw is missing (see last picture).
