Large wooden shop fitting unit. The upper part has plate glass doors on rollers behind which are 20 pull-out wooden drawers - five in each of four sections. The lower part has deep shelves behind wooden sliding doors. My Mother-in-Law gave me this piece when we had our first home. It's been used to store children clothes and toys and later art materials. I'm very attached to it but since moving to much smaller house I'm forced to admit that there really is nowhere to put it. It's sitting outside under a tarpaulin and will need some TLC. All the drawers have been indoors and are all in original condition. I'm happy to provide information, measurements and photos if anyone is interested in rehoming it. It would be an interesting project for someone with basic DIY skills and would certainly provides a lot of useful organised storage space.

s Oak Framed Shop Haberdashery Unit. Vintage/Retro/Mid Century

Salvaged from an independent North Laine Brighton Shop, this fabulous Oak Framed Haberdashery Cabinet has the potential to be a unique and multi-purpose piece of home decor, or could equally slot back into a retail or office environment. The ten, attractive, staggered wooden drawers are perfect for storing and displaying a multitude of wares, and are complimented by two mirrored, horizontally sliding doors at the top. There are currently two drawers missing from the piece but we are doing our best to source replacements. There is also a large crack in the glass at the back of the cabinet. The piece is available to buy in it's current state, however we intend to remove this pane of broken glass in the near future, and leave it open in order for the drawers to be accessed from either side. This glass could of course easily be replaced with another pane, or with a hard wood depending on how you wish to use the cabinet. Please enquire for further photos!
