Wren, St. Kilda Wren & Dipper - Mounted 's Bird Print An attractive colour print rescued from a s British Birds book. Overall size including mount 10 inches x 8 inches (254mm x 203mm) Ready to fit into a standard 10 inch x 8 inch frame. Visible print size approx 8 inches x 6 inches (203mm x 152mm) Available in cream, white or black, the mounts are bevel cut in white core mount board which does not yellow with age, all are hinge mounted using pH neutral mounting tape and come on a backing board in a self seal cellophane bag. The Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe - Rare Beswick

Beautiful rare Beswick figurine of 'The Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe' which was found in an old cardboard box when moving house, so I know very little about it's history. According to the valuer this is the Rolls Royce of figurines and has been valued at £. It was manufactured by Beswick in either or 46 and is a FIRST EDITION as the writing on the base is in gold. It measures approximately 3 1/2" from heel to toe and is 2 3/4" high. There is some crazing especially on the top, however, apparently, this is usual on figurines made at this time and simply shows it is genuine. Otherwise it looks perfect - A bit grubby but too frightened to clean it. The information on the bottom says BEATRIX POTTER'S THE OLD LADY WHO LIVED IN A SHOE F. WARNE & CO. LTD. COPYRIGHT BESWICK ENGLAND (in an oval also in gold lettering) L11 or 41 is believed to be the artist who made it I hope I have recorded all the details accurately, but if you need any further information, please email I am not at all knowledgeable on figurines so have taken expert advice before listing this item.
