Odd-eyed B&w British Shorthair Cross Neuter 5 / 6yrs old
Apologies to anyone who may have been trying to call; I had misplaced my phone. For sale due to bereavement George is a lovely happy bouncy sort of chap; he’s funny & cheeky & he loves to play. He isn’t keen on being picked up – he likes his feet on something solid – but comes when called, enjoys being made a fuss of, likes having his belly rubbed, & will sit beside you (sometimes on your knee!). He’s always been an indoor cat, but might enjoy a safe garden as one of his favourite pastimes is making threatening noises at the birds on the other side of the glass; favourite games are chasing lights and shadows, anything where he has his humans attention e.g. trying to catch a shoelace, he has been know to watch the TV. Although he’s in a multi-cat household (he has also lived with a dog) George is very sad & lonely at the moment as his human (my partner) died in March and since then he hasn’t been groomed or had a cuddle because I am very allergic to him. He is 5 – 6yrs old, has always been very healthy and robust (other than having to have a canine tooth removed which he broke jumping into the bath); he’s up-to-date with vaccinations, neutered, id chipped, and was wormed with Drontal XL on 7th April. He is always clean both in appearance and in his habit, and he will leave for his new home with a pipette of Stronghold flea treatment. I think it plain from this write-up that George is very much loved, but besides the fact that with two households merged into one I am unable to cope – especially at this time – the best thing for George would be a new home with people who can give him the love and attention he deserves. Enquiries by phone please; expect to be asked questions about your household, I want what’s best for him AND his potential new family.
