This renewable biomass fuel is made from 100% compressed sawdust (sawmill byproduct) with nothing added. No additives or binders are required because natural lignin in the wood binds sawdust and shavings after pressure is applied. They have very low moisture (around 7%) and as a result very high calorific value of ca. kCal/kg. They do not spit or smoke because of the very low moisture content and are up to 50% more economical than logs when their heat value is taken into account. Larch is the hottest wood in terms of calorie content per kg, higher than even hardwoods like oak and ash, and has a beautiful light amber colour. They burn for 3 - 4 hours in a good stove and produce a steady heat with a good flame. Because they burn very hot and expand slightly in the fire, it is important not to overload your fire box. Each brick measures approximately 65mm x 90mm x 150mm. There are 12 briquettes in a 10kg bag and 96 x 10 kg bags (six rows) on a full pallet. They are very clean and easy to handle. This is a natural product, so a small amount of flaking can be expected. This does not affect product performance. The secret to maximising performance from these briquettes is to get them really hot before turning down the air flow. For sale is my 7 foot long carpet python. Bought from our local independent reptile specialist about 14 months ago. About 3 years old. Eats a Large Weaner Rat every 2-3 weeks - I like to keep him guessing. We call him Brutus although the snake is unsexed so could be female. Poo's and sheds regularly. All sheds are complete and without problem. Cleaned out regularly. Never had mites or any other issues. Has struck at me a couple of times when I go to pick him up but once out of his viv he is calm and easy to handle. My 8 year old is happy to hold him and he is housed in my sons room. Comes with large tall vivarium fitted with two ceramics lamps and cages. New red heat bulb in one. New normal light bulb needed for the other. We keep the red one on constantly or we swap between white and red to give him a day and night cycle. Digital thermometer included. 2 large logs included which he likes to climb and sit on.
