Head of a holy woman carved from oak - Saint Anna. Beautifully carved and crafted with a nice dark patina. It was possibly a fragment of a larger whole (Virgin and Child with Saint Anna).Gothic period, early 15th century (). German origin, RhinelandThe height of the head is 12.5 cm.The figurine is mounted on a wooden pedestal later on. Total height including the pedestal is 18 cm. It has been cut from soft sandstone (possibly tufa?). It dates back to the 15th century. Presumably head was part of a larger image.Of French origin. Later on mounted on iron pedestal. The doors themselves are equipped with moldings. The legs of this cabinet are modified with wood carving.In the inner case behind the doors are a total of five drawers.
