For my best knowledge, the wood is solid oak. Most value of the table is it has a beautiful carved edge (picture 3, 11) and the carved edge (picture 7). You can image how many hours to carve these edge and leg. The defect of the table is the table extension part (picture ) has some wears but it complete doesn't affect an thing. In generally, the table top can be say in acceptable condition. The table physical condition is very good, no wobbly or broken. The table legs have adjust screw (picture 8) to adjust the height if the floor is not flat. The table original price is over £ table, so please don't use brand new concept to buy this table. The table top can be separated with the leg for transport. I have one similar extendable table in Tower Bridge area of London (SE1 5SF).
