This is a solid oak table with drop leaves. It's a charming and original item in good order and perfect for four people. It's a vintage table and can be used with either one leaf up or both. It tucks nicely out of the way when the leaves are down. The table has no knocks or scratches but could do with a good polish - a bit of beeswax will bring the colour up. It's a bit faded on one leaf where it's been in the sun - some stain will bring it back. Oak Barley Twist Drop Leaf Table

This solid oak barley twist table has been modernised within our workshop. Firstly we sanded the table using 3 different grains of sandpaper. The barley twist legs had grey undercoat applied then white paint allowing the grey to be pulled through enhancing the barley twist legs. The top of the table has been left natural to show the grain of the oak. To protect the table we finished it with 3 coats of quality wax.
