Oak carved writing bureau, This is a splendid dark oak writing bureau in good condition for its age.I have known it all my life. My mother bought it over 70 years ago, but I do not know exactly how old it is. It is probably Victorian.It has one long drawer over 3 short drawers and a cupboard.The writing section is quite scruffy - due to age. The bureau comes from Adam Bede. It comes in two parts and will fit in any car. Has 6 drawers for pens, stamps etc. and a leather insert in the writing section. It is very pretty.
