In almost perfect condition (little dot above the 6) and possibly an earlier professional refinish.The solid Omega wind-up movement has cal.283 and is numbered 17... which dates this watch back to . This appears to be a problem-free calibre from Omega.... and was the successor of the famous 30T2 movement. It has been checked / adjusted/ oiled and it is clean. It is known that during the last World war many high ranked officers were eager to wear a Omega like this on their wrist...they were also popular among pilots, because of their large size...which could easily be worn over clothing. This is an original 's Double Headboard with glass shelf and drawer unit to each side designed by Leslie Dandy. The piece is from a pet and smoke free home. There is some wear and tear to this piece in line with age and usage and an area of damage to the inner surface of the left hand side drawer unit (see photo), however, when the double bed and bedding are in place this does not detract from this stylish piece.
