Does anyone know of a livery with a dry lot. Or know of someone who has land and has an area that can be used as a dry lot or even as a track? My horse has PSSM and needs to be off grass for his own welfare. I do not want him to be restricted to being stabled so I am searching for the correct turnout to enable him to have a hay only diet but to also get his required excercise, time to socialise and be a horse. Chunky is Small pony looking for a new home as a companion. Chunky has not had much handling before she came to me however I am currently catching her everyday with food and she is coming along great with gaining trust etc. She is nervy around people crowding her in the field as she likes her own space however I lead her out on roads etc while I'm riding and she's not phased by going past cars etc in the small lanes. She's around 20 years old and has never had rugs or anything and only has a small feed a day and has been perfectly fine, she is a very hardy pony. Doesn't really need feeding at all only because my other mare has feed. She is very good with other horses, never even thought abit biting or kicking my mare and stays away when asked to. We do believe she is slightly blind on her right side however she had no signs that this is causing her any pain.she is just slightly jumpy on that side. Ideally looking for a home where she can spend out the rest of her days in a field with other horses being left to her own devices or going out on small walks as this is what she loves best.
