Here I am selling a console table that I bought from a flea market in LEWES two years ago. The console table itself is probably only a few years old but made to look old with decorative drawers and legs. Bought for £150 a few years back from south street Lewes. Lovely antique style yew writing desk/hall console. Currently used as a computer desk but is unfortunately too small for my needs. 3 drawers with fully working locks and 1 key. This is an old piece so is showing some wear in places, it has the following notable damage: - Some red felt marks on the top courtesy of my 2 year old, - Some bumps on the right hand side where the door had opened into the desk a few times, - Lastly, I have only recently noticed that there is a little bit of decorative wood missing from the front of the drawer on the right. This is a beautiful desk, I think it's Edwardian. It's definitely an antique and not reproduction! It's solid, heavy and in good condition apart from the right handle missing the pull. (I have an extra handle in the drawer very similar but haven't swapped it out.) The top is slightly peeling with the varnish--could do with a french polish or paint?!
