5 decorative stamp boxes - with one matching blotter pad,
Please see our various pictures where we have tried to show each in as much detail as possible both externally and internally. The dark wood box is inscribed "Garmisch" on the front of the lid, the lighter wood box inscribed "O.AMERGAU". The three section box with flowers on the lid does have a slightly faulty hinge but does not detract as it still opens and shuts fine. We have very little experience of these items but would suggest that the other boxes and blotter are pewter and would suggest they date from around 's to late 's? The blotter and the largest box seem to have matching /similar patterns. The G.P.O. whistle is made by J.Hudson & Co, Barr Street, Hockley, Birmingham. Read More
