French painted newly upholstered double bed

French painted newly upholstered double bed This bed has been hand painted with Autentico a chalk based furniture paint in "Linen" and has been hand finished with an quality Antique furniture wax to add durability and has a slight sheen. This effect gives an authentic french chic look. This is a fantastic French painted double bed. The bed has lovely curved head and tail board with carved detailing. The bed has been newly upholstered in an off white neutral material with a pretty off white braiding. The bed has new pine slats. This bed takes a standard double mattress. This bed divides into 5 parts: headboard, tailboard, 2 side rails, pine slatted base (this is screwed together so dismantles further). Dimensions are: max. width mm. headboard height mm. overall length mm. tailboard height 810mm. I have also listed a matching pair of bedside cabinets. As with all antiques and vintage items please remember they are not brand new and will always show signs of age and use, this is generally accepted with antique and vintage furniture. Vintage French inspired painted shabby chic double bed - newly upholstered base

Vintage French inspired painted shabby chic double bed - newly upholstered base This bed has been hand painted with a white base coat and then hand painted with Autentico Vintage chalk paint in Soft Grey before being lightly distressed. I have hand finished the wardrobe with a white chalk wax to add durability which has a lovely matt finish. This effect gives an authentic rustic french shabby chic look. This is a super Vintage double bed. The bed is made from mahogany. The bed has a lovely shaped headboard with a central carved detail and shaped mouldings. The bed has iron sides made by Vono, which simply bolt on. The bed has is original base which has been newly upholstered with plain white cover. The double mattress then sits on top of the base. The base is designed to fold in centre, to help navigate the stairs. The foot board have beautiful swan necked ends. This would make a super centre piece to any bedroom be it traditional or contemporary. Dimensions are: overall width mm. overall length mm. headboard height mm. height of base from the floor 380mm.
