 General Purpose English leather saddle by Ideal. 17.5" from cantle to stud. Medium/narrow. D - D (top ones) is approx 8.5" Brown with paler seat and knee rolls. Extremely comfortable saddle. One of those that seems to fit several horses on our yard, just frustratingly not mine! This belonged to my old girl who was pts earlier this year. It's a lovely saddle and a hard sale, but needs must. She was a 16hh fairly solid Polish Warmblood, initially always a medium but changed shape slightly with age and I changed to this one. The saddle itself has been checked over by a saddler who's given it the ok. Although in good condition, you can see from the top it has noticeable water marks. I bought it second hand like this and nearly always used a seat saver. Good solid saddle by a reputable maker. Please can winning bidder pay within 48 of auction ending. Unfortunately this saddle is surplus to requirements as whilst it fits the pony, it doesn't fit the child it was intended for! It is in extremely good condition and as the photos show is leather with serge panels and synthetic flaps so is the best of all worlds! It has a wide gullet & wide panels to distribute the weight of the rider away from the spine, and is designed to fit awkward-shaped native ponies with broad flat backs & no withers. I do not have space in my tack room for all the saddles that I have found really useful and comfortable so am having a clear-out and getting rid of everything very cheaply! I have listed this item elsewhere so may end the auction early, but I am happy for anyone near to RG9 to view it, or else to try it on. I myself have had a nightmare with various courier companies that claim to not be able to find the house or find anyone at home, so I am happy to send at cost via the buyer's preferred company, in the meantime I will list P+P as £15, but it could well be less
