Chicken run and coop
The actual chicken coop was bought, the rest constructed by me, For the time I used it, about 5 years, it was fox proof (their lair is just beyond the fence at the bottom of my garden). There is a spare front to the coop which was replaced when new (but still usable). The run consists in the main of 2 building site fences either side with a home built front (with entry door) and back, and an awful lot of chicken wire. The roof is made of several corrugated fibreglass panels on top of chicken wire. It is roped down onto stakes and has survived some severe storms. the dimensions are 9'6" wide by 11'6" long by 6' high. We had 4-5 chickens which comfortably fitted within. To move it, first it will have to be taken down and then a large van trailer need to move it. I will help and provide any necessary tools to dismantle. (for some reason I am unable to load any photos - these can be sent on email on request). Read More
