The revolutionary design of the Neue Schule Show Pelham cheek creates the illusion of doubles but only uses one mouthpiece. This is an innovative, lightweight, elegant design. Traditional Pelhams with a solid mouthpiece and fixed cheeks often encourage the horse to fix and lean. However, the Neue Schule Show Pelham snaffle ring is specifically designed to turn freely, which allows play through the reins. This eradicates any wooden feel, allows more lift from the shoulder and enhances communication. This action is also beneficial for horses that tend to overbend in a curb. The forward cut ported mouthpiece is a very comfortable design that gives generous tongue relief without causing upper palate interference. It has often proven the solution to many long term tongue evasions. The Neue Schule Salox is Neue Schule’s unique composition - This is a warmer softer metal with a very high copper content and Neue Schule additive to maximise on oxidation (Nickel Free). The ergonomic design features a cleverly curved mouthpiece which eliminates interference with the upper palate and prevents the bit from lying too far forwards in the mouth. The bit is fantastic for use during faster work such as jumping as it utilises alternate pressure points on the horses head generating more control without upping the severity of the mouthpiece. The design aids the rider in turning and generally eliminates head tossing associated with transitions. The bit provides four rein options including the option for a curb and Pelham roundings when riders require additional control.
