Imperfections in the patterns and shape make this rug unique and emphasise its authentic and traditional character. Nepalese rugs are often made by Tibetan nomads living in Nepal.The patterns are often simple and often divided into sections. Nepalese rugs are made of goat's wool or sheep's wool and are often naturally dyed on a cotton warp (bobbin thread). The rugs have a thick and heavy quality.
