Eggbutt Function: Direct action - applies same amount of rein pressure to the mouth. More direct signal than loose Ring. Will not pull through the mouth or pinch.    Options: Hooks are available on Eggbutt Rings. Hooks fix attachment of reins and headstall and allow bit to work like a leverage bit. Mylers Toklat Low Port Eggbutt Comfort Snaffle with Hooks in

The Low port comfort snaffle is the most popular Myler bit to start a youngster or novice horse in. The offers some tongue relief, and is comfortable and explicit in its action for kind but effective communication. The 30 cheek is an eggbutt style cheek but with slots for the reins and cheek pieces to go through. This gives this Myler bit the ability to apply a little poll pressure and there are also two small holes to accept hooks for a curb chain if required. The Myler eggbutt with slots is a very versatile bit and gives a much clearer action and release than traditional bits, which results in the horse understanding the rider more quickly and consistently. Low Port Comfort Snaffle Eggbutt with Hooks features: 3/4" low port for tongue relief, kind effective communication Acts on tongue and corners of bars, gently wrapping lips, but port gives more tongue relief when bit not engaged by rider Black and white action due to the slotted eggbutt cheek allows the rider and horse far better communication Ideal place to start a horse in a Myler bit if they have with no particular problems Myler level: 2 Bit strength: fairly mild Size: cm. Excellent condition, only used about 5 times but horse prefers Baucher style  Myler. MB33 English Dee with Hooks - Size 4 1/2" The MB33 is the mildest Myler mouthpiece in terms of tongue pressure. The generously wide port allows room for the tongue to pass under the bit and swallow. Because this mouthpiece does not rotate on to the tongue and the port is wide, it applies little to no tongue pressure, working primarily off the bars, lips, chin and poll. This mouthpiece has Independent Side Movement.
