A huge Family 8 berth tent, with two bedrooms. Comes complete with curtains & roof lining. Has been used many times but is in very good condition. It can withstand any weather conditions. Only has a small hole on the roof (shown in photo) which could be easily repaired (this has been caused by a guy rope from a canopy in windy weather rubbing the top) we usually cover with a small piece of gaffer tape. Large Vintage 60s/70s Canvas Frame Tent 6-8 Berth

A lovely vintage 60s/70s canvas frame tent. Large and will fit 6-8 people with lots of living space and windows. It measures 14x15ft when up with 2m headheight, so very roomy. It fits into two bags of 130cmx35cm approx. Bags have holes due to age but tent is importantly intact. Frame is colour coded so suprisingly easy to put up. I have used it once and would love to keep it but have no room to store it as I live in a boat now. It's much more sturdy and nicer to camp in that modern tents in my opinion. This is a fabulous family tent. It's massive. There are 4 bedroom spaces and a central area for living - best of all you can stand up inside. It has integral ground sheets but we always used an extra one to protect the tent (Coleman Protect Groundsheet 6.4x3.0m) which is included. The living space measures a massive 380x480cm which will provide plenty of space for dining and all your extra camping furniture. Due to the large front and side windows light freely enters the living area and the 220cm head height adds to the feeling of light, airy space. Each side window has a mesh vent above and features an internal privacy cover. The living area also features a fully sewn-in groundsheet to keep the elements at bay. We have had this for 4 years, used for about 12 trips, Brilliant tent. Been in the loft for a season so we put it up in the garden at the weekend to confirm all is OK. 1 fibreglass pole split on one end - 4 spare included. I have replaced one before (they do split from time to time) but not got round to changing this. We now have a caravan and don't need the tent. Sad to see it go really. Listed elsewhere.
