Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray, made in . Other than body contour & not stringing through body this is very close to the original Stingray. Full bridge with string mutes intact. Original 2 band EQ. If you're looking for a pristine bass, this isn't it! The body has numerous scratches & dings, it has been played a lot over it's 25 year life! Frets are fine though, and there are no issues that effect playability, structure or sound. Neck in very good condition other than one mark on back near 3rd fret. I'm happy to take more photos of specific areas if anyone's interested. It doesn't come with a case. Could do with a new set of strings.

MusicMan Stingray bass

For sale is a MusicMan Stingray bass. The early EBMMs from the mid-80s to mid-90s are fantastic and ever-appreciating instruments. This comes in one of the classiest and Rarest finishes, Trans Red, in its darkest, 'oxblood', version only seen from for a few years. Classic 2-band EQ packs a real punch. The neck has a beautiful flame to the maple. The frets are in good condition, with loads of life left in them. The string mutes are original, as is the pickup and preamp, and everything is in perfect working order. The neck has an oil finish which gives the neck a distinctly different look to the headstock and has darkened a little with age. It has been looked after thoroughout its life and is in very good 8/10 condition. More pics available on request. There are a few little dings around the lower part of the body near the control plate and a surface scratch on the back, but is in great nick for an instrument this age. You will see from the photos that this bass is essentially new, it still has the pick guard factory wrap on it, barcode stickers and tags, and MM bag is unopened. I have probably picked it up no more than a few times. I bought it intending take it up and then joined a few bands as a guitarist that got very busy and so it has been in its case for six years…. so that’s rather like ’NOS’ … I am only selling it because i’m looking for a 339, so no trades unless it’s a 339. Please note this is a Stingray, not a Sterling, it is a top notch bass, if you look at Andertons, GAK, GG etc you will see the new price today is seriously more than my asking price so grab yourself a bargain. It shows some battle scars here and there but nothing you wouldn't expect from a now vintage 25 year old bass. Set up with low action and a super straight neck. American Musicman Sterling Active bass with original Hard Case like Stingray

Lovely American Musicman bass a slightly smaller sibling to Stingray. Do not confuse with Sterling by Musicman Ray. This is the real thing. Rock solid, great condition sounds fantastic. If you go to Musicman website you will see spec, but the main differences with Stingray is slightly smaller body, controls mounted on body not control plate and hotter pickup.
