Beautiful Muscovy ducks need VERY good homes only..

I need to re-home some of my beautiful Muscovy ducks after they bred in Summer, leaving us with too many. They are used to a very safe, happy, free range life. Intelligent, calm, trained to go in at night. Usually they are sitting in the stable waiting to be locked in after sunset. A quiet breed - they don't quack! Must go to a home/s that can provide an area of land or garden and secure protection from the fox at night. Local people preferable so I can see where they are going. Very good PET homes only - I will check. They're all young adults now - fully feathered, and they're in beautiful condition.The photos were taken at the end of the Summer when they were really young. I now have: One group of 5 (2 drakes with 3 females) and a group of 9ish (4 drakes and 5 females). Mixed colours - lavender, white, magpie, black. Can also let them go in pairs or smaller groups but not alone. No single females or groups of purely females as I'll be left with too high a ratio of drakes. Excellent pet homes only - I will check. My muscovy Jimmy needs a new home. He's started mating one of my rescue hens and is going to do some serious damage soon. He's a lovely boy, very tame as he was hand reared. Wherever he goes I must be guaranteed that he wouldn't be slaughtered because he means a lot to me and I love him dearly.
