Trio of Muscovies

Girls hatched 12 June by Mum. You get to choose two out of the three in photos. I want one of my drakes (from another clutch) to go too- he comes free, either a lavender and white, or magpie.. Like all ducks, Muscovies need to be kept in groups (all male/ female, or more females than males) and have access to water deep enough to bathe in. I find them absolutely adorable, and the lack of loud noise is a plus. The little noises they do make are really sweet. They fly, and as you can see from photos, the girls love perching on a high fence, but they don't fly away once established. Read More

Black and White Muscovies

We have a little 'family' of Black and White Muscovies that provides a nice mix of pet and show birds. We have a pair of hatch Muscovies, and their four growers that she hatched late this summer. She has been broody twice this year and hatched 13 in her first brood! He has excellent fertility. The four growers are unsexed at present however at a rough guess there are two of each. One is white, two are nicely marked and the other is slightly darker.
