I am opened for offers for this bike however I expect price roughly £, depends how many people will be interested. Please see description. Good points: few weeks ago I replaced the following parts: - brakes (new metal calipers) - punch resistant tyres with punch resistant inner tubes - new chain - new gears cassette - new front and rear brake and rear gears cables - all bearings have new grease also it comes with: - pannier - full size mudguards - Bad points: - a bit rust on seat post surface - a bit rust on front fork surface The rust is just on the surface so it is nothing serious, I am too lazy to sort this out. I have probably spent just £80 or £100 just on all these new parts to get the bike prepared for the new season, but then I decided to buy the new one. Lovely mountain bike with road tyres. It has been re-sprayed silver and black as the original paint was a bit scratched. It's not a professional re-spray but quite a good finish. A very distinctive machine. In the past few weeks I have added the following brand new parts. "Slick" green tyres. Brake pads. Handlebar gear changers and cables. Alloy short handlebars.(to replace steel ones) Grips. Seat. Alloy/steel crank set.(to replace all steel one) Alloy pedals. Chain. Shimano derailleur. Lightweight side stand. The bike is listed as having 14 gears but the crank set has 3 chain rings. When I bought the new gear changers, the one for the front only has 2 positions so you can only use 14 gears as it is. I have never found that I need 7 gears, never mind 14 but you could easily change the set up. The new alloy handlebars are shorter than the originals. If you want the original steel ones, I will throw them in with the bike. New ones are 21" wide. I also have one of the knobbly MTB tyres. The other was worn out.
