Heartbreaking sale of my Uro "Shovel". He/she was purchased in July as a captive bred juvenile. I am simply unable to give him the time he deserves at the moment, so I am therefore offering him for sale to the right person. He is a lovely yellow colour when he fires up, and is an inquisitive soul. Uro's are strictly vegetarian with a few seeds and pulses also allowed in their diet, and desert dwelling so high, dry temperatures are required to keep them healthy. Shovel is currently living in a 4 x 2 x 2 foot oak vivarium which is also available at extra cost - this was purchased at Realm of Reptiles in Milton Keynes along with Shovel. Meet Gilbert, bought by myself five years ago after his old owners moved away. Hes a lovely lizard with a puppy dog like personality who loves attention and playing. He is a vegetarian and loves basking in the heat and sunshine. Originally from a desert climate he has a heat lamp that is on during the day and off at night. His colour changes with this; he turns black at night time when he goes to sleep (and is cold) to a beautiful sunset variety of colours during the day when he is nice and warm.
