It also has a 4x32 telescopic sight and mounts, an auto safety catch is standard, just been fitted with a new string and end caps, this is as good as it gets and its in excellent condition, its an early one (late 80's) that back in the day were made to a good specification, it has a composite stock and machined aluminium chassis. Barnett Commando 1 / I Crossbow Cocking Arm Bolts in

Set of cocking arm bolts for the original Barnett Commando I from the late 70's - 80s. x2 original dome head bolts, one left hand thread, one right hand thread. As with allot of these left hand thread bolts the head was damaged due to a previous owner not knowing it was reverse threaded. The head had been filed up and there's now a deep slot (Pictured) with plenty of purchase for a flat head screwdriver. It's not amazing cosmetically but functions perfectly. Right hand thread bolt is in very good condition for age. These bolts are very rare and believe me, getting someone to machine one can be difficult and expensive, as I found when ringing around previously (The best quote I got was £200 as not many places take on small jobs now) This would make a good replacement for a lost or badly damaged bolt. They certainly won't be making any more and those that do exist are already attached to a crossbow. With all Commandos I recommend using a medium strength thread locking compound on the cocking arm bolts to avoid any loosening with use. A perfect replacement for a broken, damaged or lost spring. Very difficult to come by these days. There are two of these inside the trigger mechanism. These were made by professionals using the original spring as the template and are exact copies of the original. You may need to trim a touch off the straight leg as they were made slightly longer on that side. It's easily done with a small pair of wire cutters / clippers. They may seem expensive but keep in mind, if you wanted to have some made you need to pay the initial set up cost for the piece and it's not cheap.
