  s Burny LP Custom Black Beauty Vintage

Up for sale, a s Burny LP Custom "Black Beauty" in exceptional, 100% original condition and in good working order.  This expertly crafted Japanese guitar clearly takes its cues from its Gibson cousin (no relation), and this Burny is a descendent of the famed "lawsuit" guitars from Japan's history, although there was no such controversy surrounding this particular brand or instrument.  The guitar retains the original VH-1 PAF replica humbuckers which have incredible harmonic content, great punch and an overall full and rich tonal character.  There's plenty of bite and chime in the top end too!  The weight of this guitar is par for the course with a typical Custom at 10bs 10oz.  This guitar is simply one of the most elegant and easy to play Les Pauls we've ever had in the shop here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, with extremely low and comfortable action, near endless sustain, and solid intonation The neck has a medium C "60s" profile with original vintage style fretwear that only shows the lightest wear down near the nut beneath the B and G strings, and virtually no wear up the neck.  The neck sports white binding, block inlays and an original nut that's just shy of 1 3/4" width, leaving plenty of room for accurate lead work and effortless chording.   The headstock has a traditional pearloid diamond inlay along with the Burny logo (often mistaken for "Bunny") and gold Gotoh tuning machines with tulip buttons.  On the body, all of the electronics work as they should, with the usual individual volume and tone knobs for each pickup coupled with a three-way pickup selector.  The original gold hardware is extremely clean and vibrant with only light oxidation and fading on the bridge pickup cover.  There are also a couple faint marks in the clear coat on the face of the headstock around the A and G tuners from stray string ends.  Cosmetically, there's barely a scratch on this guitar, with no buckle rash on the back and a stunning gloss black finish. This is an excellent Japanese "Black Beauty" that's very faithful to the original LP design and complete with the coveted VH-1 "PAF" humbuckers! The original hardshell case is included. A Beautiful guitar made in the ‘Golden Era’ of the early ’s from high quality ‘old growth’ woods and constructed by highly skilled Japanese Luthiers at the famous Fujigen Plant, (not to be confused with later cheap quality mass-produced Burnys). Vintage Burny Les Pauls were made to such a high standard, they were seen by many as being as good or better than Gibson Les Pauls and so GIBSON USA enforced their Guitar Patents (hence “Lawsuit Guitars”) and restricted their sale to within Japan. Vintage ‘feel’ and over 30 years resonance. Fantastic tone and sustain from being constructed with Vintage resonant “Old Growth” woods. Playing made effortlessly comfortable by Fret Edge Binding (as only found on top-end very expensive guitars). 4. Fabulous electrics with Original highly rated Burny L Vintage PAF Pickups, plus 500k Potentiometers and Paper-in-Oil Capacitors. These guitars only increase their value.
