'Jesse' is a registered miniature Shetland standing at 33inches. He is a soft and gentle gelding, and is fantastic with children - fantastic pony to teach children how to ride and gain confidence. I've had him for approx. 2 years, and he's had many young children riding and handling him at home and at shows, Jesse has never put a foot wrong. Jesse attended Anglesey county show last year and the show ring was next to the loud fun fair - Jesse didn't bat a eyelid! Jesse was previously used in a riding school ridden on and off the lead. Wanted Shetland for child to ride Pocklington area

I am looking for a Shetland/ small pony for my son who is 3 to ride/ visit and look afterbto get him used to them. Will be looking to buy and use a local livery stables eventually if he keeps interest. We have had successful trips on my friends pony but too far to travel regularly. We have on offer a couple of shetland pony stables at small family-run farm quiet yard in Standish. We offer a unique full livery deal for shetland ponies/small ponies. This allows you to pay minimum price and have everything taken care of for you - straw, hay, turning out, bringing in etc for the right type of hardy pony. Would suit shetlands that prefer to live out and graze as much as possible 24/7 all year round. On the days that the weather conditions are too bad and stabling is required, we have special pony sized stables that will allow for two or three ponies to go in together if you like, or you can have your own separate stable if preferred. We quite simply love these little characters. As we have one shetland of our own, we are looking to encourage a couple liveries to come on with shetlands to give him some friends his own size.
