Astronomy: where are we? - Illustrated talk about the Milky

At 7.30pm on Wednesday the 16th of December at Braziers Park, Oxfordshire, Trevor Pitt will give a 40 minute illustrated talk to us in the house about the Milky Way galaxy and the orientation of planet earth. If the sky is clear this will be followed by some star gazing. We will have a powerful telescope for everybody to look through and some binoculars. Further discussion is planned about astronomy and culture which will be introduced by Ilaria Cristofaro.
