This tapered tea box with convex lid is made from pinewood and lined with walnut veneer. As accents blackened quarter round edges and the lid and key entrance inlaid with a diamond shape of bone. The inside has a single lid with turned knob of bone and a large part of the original lead-/tin foil is still present. The spoon box still has its original brass hinges and a lock with working key. The bottom of the tea box has shrunk, creating an old shrink seam around in the veneer. The tea caddy has a nice warm orange-brown colour and fancy gloss from the authentic polished finish.Dimensions; height: 11 cm, width: 14 cm, depth: 10 cm. Read more
