Want to become an instructor and mountain bike leader? Want to learn to teach riding skills? We offer Level 1 non tech terrain (MBL1) and Level 2 tech terrain courses (MBL2). Ideal for those wishing to work in the leisure industry or the Police or Armed Forces. Run over 2 days you ll learn how to lead, navigate, route plan, group management, skills coaching, bike fam and basic maintenance. Day 1 is mix of classroom based theory and teaching skills, day 2 is a group ride in the Peak District, which incorporates all. Based in the heart of the Midlands, Nottingham or we can come to your location and run the courses there. Cost is £230 which includes registration, assessment, logbook and certificate. We also offer cycle maintenance courses where you can learn to inspect, service and repair your bike or others and get a qualification too and MBSR Search and Rescue courses. Pegasusmtb offers closed courses for the Military and fully accepts SLC (Standard Learning Credits). Pegasusmtb is fully insured against liability up to £5 million pounds and are members of the Association of British Cycling Coaches. We also run coaching and skills sessions starting with the basics bike set up, cornering, body position. through to jumps, drops etc. These can be run to suit individuals needs and half day and full day coaching available.
