Brilliant little ZYTO metal lathe is for sale having upgraded to a Clarke CL500M. In excellent condition with no apparent wear to any of the bearings or machine surfaces and mounted on it's own stand, so just plug it in and you're ready for work!!!!. Driven by a Compton and Parkinson 1/4HP 2.1Amp RPM single phase motor powered through an AutoWest START/STOP switch box. Turning capacity approx. 170mm diameter and 240mm length with 10mm spindle bore, included is a 3 jaw chuck and key, face plate, Morse taper chuck and key, spare belt pulley, speed change gear, various screw cutting gears. This is a VICMARC VL100 wood turning lathe date marked . The lathe itself is in perfect working order. The indicator for rpm has failed. Comes complete with stand, and two tool rests. Only reason for selling such a brilliant piece of kit is that I wanted a lathe that gives me 14" diameter capability. I'll set it up so you can be satisfied before purchase is agreed but buyer will have to collect from central Camberley Surrey. Zyto 3-3/8" Metalworking Lathe in Brandon

Built by Tyzack &Co in London up to the late 's and comes with a fairly rare cast-iron stand with countershaft. It's a back-geared, machine with tumble-reverse and almost a full set of screwcutting gears, and both bed and bearings are in very good unworn condition.
