Futon Company 3 seater Futon in fantastic condition. So, so, so, so comfy! It makes a great bed but is also a good sofa. This is a really substantial sofa bed. It has a strong metal frame with wooden slats which I tried to show in photo 4. The mattress is very thick and comfy, buttoned, and attaches to the frame with strong ties. It is in excellent condition with no stains or age showing. It is so easy to fold out into a good sized double bed and simple to put away. The cover is made of a thick washable linen material and is oatmeal in colour. There are 3 good cushions as the photo shows. It is a completely different kettle of fish from a foam filled IKEA sofa bed. These things cost £ on the Futon Company website. It is heavy to move. We are selling as we no longer have space for it. Metal bed frame with mattress in Manchester

Metal frame bed with mattress, has only been used in the spare room and from a smoke free house. We do have dog through they were not allowed on the bed. Mattress is of a medium firmness and only used sparingly as it was a guest bed but it is about 2 years old roughly. The frame is a little older than the mattress and has some scuffs and marks on it, one of the wooden dowels has come off and been put back on with tape but this can be easily glued back in if you wish to do that. The underside bar on the headboard section has a slight bend to it as do some of the sections in between the bars but this happens with metal beds. When the frame is all together it is sturdy and never had an issue with anything breaking on it. It is collection only from the Eccles area in Manchester and would like it to be collected quite quickly as we are clearing out the house and need the space for other furniture.
