Vintage Meredew double and single wardrobe

Vintage, mid century double and single wardrobe from acclaimed maker Meredew. Just removing from a 250-year old cottage with many design classics. The single wardrobe is assembled, as shown, with telescopic brass clothes rail. The double had to be dismantled as too large to fit down our stairs (hence photo half dismantled). The double features a full length drop rail, plus overhead double storage and slide out drawers. These are both top quality, with incredible fittings all original. One half of the rear panel to the double has a hole in it as it was used to access a water tap. Apart from that, these are in great condition. The single can be dismantled for easy of transport. The clever fitting system is robust and simple. These are design classics and the double wardrobe is changing hands on other sites for £100, so looking for £150 for the pair. Collection only for cash. Rare chance to get two matching wardrobes of this style. NOTE: the single wardrobe is not as tall as the double, which has the overhead compartment (it was used in a room with a sloping roof).
