For Sale is my Vintage Steelframe Road Bike, originally made by Mercian Cycles of Derbyshire, It's the perfect bike for Eroica Britannia which is held each year in Derbyshire. It has been to Eroica at least once that I know of and got me round without a hitch. At approximately 63 years old this Fantastic vintage `s classic Raleigh Superbe Gents bike was top of the range when new, an older restoration it is in full working order, medium size frame and the refurbished Sage Green paintwork is lovely, (some minor chips have been touched in) it's just fantastic, this one has the rare but very sought after stainless steel wheels, and full chaincase, rear carrier and rare original Dark Green Brookes saddle, 4 speed Sturmey Archer gears, new cream Schwalbe tyres, has its rare original Raleigh Industries rear dynamo combined light & reflector and front headlamp (not connected) it also has the original fork lock and key, it`s a lovely vintage machine and super cool with its original features Frame size 21" centre of crank to centre of top tube buy now in time for summer. Great example of a old steel frame racer. 531 frame in 25". Will suits a rider approx 6' plus. Brand new sprung seat and bartape. Chrome forks and smooth tyres with plenty of tread. Beautiful Retro Daccordi Designer Road Bike - 57cm - Large - Eroica - Italian Vintage Steel

I really don't want to sell this. I bought it a few years ago to sell on again but fell in love with it. It's beautiful, and fits me perfectly (I'm 6ft with 32" inside leg) and it rides like a dream. Alas, I have too many bikes though and I want to go on tour so I have to downsize. A few things have been improved since these photos were taken, they're nice photos though so I thought I'd use them anyway. The tyres have been changed for hardly used Continental Grand Prix s, these are amazing tyres and have hardly been used. The amber walls look great on the retro bike. The gear cables have been replaced, and the cranks have been polished. I also rebuilt the rear wheel with a used Mavic MA2 rim. Everything works perfectly. The frame is made of light weight Columbus Cromor steel tubing with nickel protection. The chrome is all perfect, there are a few marks on the paint work but no rust.
