Chaigley Duo built on a Vauxhall Movano speed manual, with power steering, electric windows, radio, central locking, alarm, full 12 months MOT, seating for three persons in front cab. 3.5 Tonne (can be driven on a standard car licence) Carries 2 large horses rear facing. Internal height is 7 feet 8 1/2 inches ( inches) ONE OWNER from new conversion, absolutely immaculate, this horsebox is as close to new as you will find and has a top specification, not to be confused with other basic spec vehicles for sale. The conversion was completed in to my own specification which included every possible extra. Specification Grooms area 2 x upholstered bench seats with padded removable seats. Mercedes 814 horse box Sad sale of our much beloved horse box, due to horse retiring from competition. We have owned it for 6 years & it has never let us down, & always starts first time. Low mileage of only km It has passed it's plating with no work needed for the past 3 years, it has 8 months remaining, & 5 months tax. We have a 17hh horse & he travels comfortably in there & I have taken my friends 16.3hh with us. The ramp was replaced 2 years ago. The horse area is in good condition. New batteries with isolator switch fitted. External lockers x2. Cab is in good condition, the drivers seat has a slight tear, & the fuel gauge is temperamental. The exterior is a bit tired, but solid. The living area we updated when we first got the lorry, but, could do with a freshen up, it has a gas burner & a sink, but there is no water pump. There is also a portable fridge, & 240v hook up. Drives well & would be suitable for any driver, benefits from power steering.
