"Dolly" Mercaston paradise breeding is on sports horse data base for you to view. She comes from good breeding stock 5yr old jet black, has been a brood mare 2 yrs ago throwing a big strong colt. Brilliant mother and weened themselves when they were ready. She would either make a fantastic mother again or if broken a one to one riding mare. She definitely needs an experienced one to one owner and will excel, not quick to trust so a lot of time is needed with her before any education is started. She has been bitted and lunged but before we found out she was in foal and not done anything since. So would be sold from the field. She is good with teeth feet farrier vet ect and up to date with worming injections ect. This mare is NOT good for a novice she needs an experienced one to one home only with someone who will care and take time to get to know her before wanting to jump on and ride her. Ive owned her from a yearling and she has such a lovely nature and will do anything for you. shes 8years old, 14.2hh, shes very forward going, always very sensible. shes barefoot, doesnt require much feed so nice and easy to manage. shes lived wirh both mares and geldings, shes good around children (my 2yr old runs round her, leads her around and she doesnt put a foot wrong). she hacks out alone or in groups, can be excitable but never ever bucks rears or gallops off shes a good girl. Reina (queen in Spanish) is my absolute pride and joy but due to unexpected circumstances I am having to put her up for sale.. I bought her as a two year old. She was lightly backed at 3 and turned away for winter. In April this year she surprised me by producing a beautiful Colt foal after my Welsh Sec C stallion managed to get in her field.. I didn't think he would have reached to be honest. She was a wonderful mother and has been brought back into work this autumn/winter and is now hacking out beautifully alone or in company.
