Selling my bike i have customised for trails and cross. It started as a steel framed mountain bike before i changed parts out. Bike is less than 6 months old, and has a small bit of paint damage from the bike carrier. The parts changed are: Longer lightweight alloy high rise bars 45 degree alloy stem Lightweight alloy road crank Single chainring conversion, with derailer removed Twistshift gears changed to trigger shift Lighter comfier saddle Lighter brake levers New lock on grips Alloy hubs and skewers for quick release wheels Alloy quick release seat clamp. Lovely mountain bike with road tyres. It has been re-sprayed silver and black as the original paint was a bit scratched. It's not a professional re-spray but quite a good finish. A very distinctive machine. In the past few weeks I have added the following brand new parts. "Slick" green tyres. Brake pads. Handlebar gear changers and cables. Alloy short handlebars.(to replace steel ones) Grips. Seat. Alloy/steel crank set.(to replace all steel one) Alloy pedals. Chain. Shimano derailleur. Lightweight side stand. The bike is listed as having 14 gears but the crank set has 3 chain rings. When I bought the new gear changers, the one for the front only has 2 positions so you can only use 14 gears as it is. I have never found that I need 7 gears, never mind 14 but you could easily change the set up. The new alloy handlebars are shorter than the originals. If you want the original steel ones, I will throw them in with the bike. New ones are 21" wide. I also have one of the knobbly MTB tyres. The other was worn out.
