Mellow 7/8 German Copie de Antonius Stradivarius, Fecit
Mellow 7/8 German Copie de Antonius Stradivarius, Fecit Saxony, Fil Anno Up for sale I have an old, 7/8 German built, Strad copy. The label inside reads: Copie de Antonius Stradivarius, Fecit Saxony, Fil Anno. . This has been a well played violin, judging by the dinks, donks, and scratches, it has acquired over the years. A very well made violin, with a lovely, flamed Maple, back, sides, and neck, with a fine grained Spruce top. All the dark woods are Ebony, and the tail piece has been fitted with four fine tuners for precise tuning. It has been set up with a new set of Perlon strings, similar to Thomastik strings, with a nice easy action. There are no signs of any damage or repairs. The sound of this little instrument is amazing for its size, very mellow, yet quite deep, and mature for a 7/8 size violin. Comes with a good case, which is fully functional, a good bow, and a new tub of golden Rosin. A lovely old German built violin.
