Medieval Style Crossbow Bolts (Qty 3) These Bolts have been designed and crafted by myself, after a long search for medieval style crossbow bolts, with little result.   The Ash shafts are inch in diameter, inches total length fitted with a 125 grain history point. Total weight of the bolt is approx 385 grains; I have shot these bolts from my 150lb draw weight crossbow with no problems at all. They do not need to be spined as crossbows generally have a minimum recommended weight of bolt that can be safely shot. (These are new, but have been test shot once). Ash was chosen for its strength and weight (gpi) with twin 4 inch shield fletchings slightly offset rotating them like a bullet as they leave the rail. The fletchings have also been aligned so that the string runs across the grain of the shaft to prevent splitting,   which also has the added strength of a metal disc fitted at the knock end. Every effort has been made to give them the highest possible degree of varnished finish, to make them weatherproof and long lasting. Safety is your OWN responsibility, not mine. I will NOT ACCEPT responsibility for misuse of these bolts or associated equipment. No matter what type, size, brand, or style of arrow or bolt you choose to shoot, you must always inspect each arrow/bolt for damage before each shot. Proper care of your arrows/bolts can ensure years of quality performance. However, shafts can become damaged, and shooting a damaged arrow/bolt is extremely unsafe! Never assume ANY arrow/bolt is safe -- not even a BRAND NEW arrow/bolt --until you have verified it yourself. It is your responsibility to check your equipment and be sure your arrows/bolts are always in good condition.
