We are a local Wooden bed Manufacturer and use only Scandinavian Pine and Hardwood. We are looking for someone to make regular collections of 1 builders bag per week or 2 every other week in order to keep our waste at a minimum. A price can be agreed for regular collections. These briquettes are made from the chippings and sawdust sourced from our joinery workshop and do not contain any MDF, Laminate, Glues or Plastic. They are supplied fire ready and in builders bags containing 800kg - kg. We are able to supply 800kg - kg every week. Larch Wood Briquettes Heat Logs - full pallet 960kg - new -

Our wood briquettes are a great alternative to firewood and logs for use in fireplaces, multifuel stoves, chimeneas and log boilers. This renewable biomass fuel is made from 100% compressed sawdust (sawmill byproduct) with nothing added. No additives or binders are required because natural lignin in the wood binds sawdust and shavings after pressure is applied. They have very low moisture (around 7%) and as a result very high calorific value of ca. kCal/kg. They do not spit or smoke because of the very low moisture content and are up to 50% more economical than logs when their heat value is taken into account. Larch is the hottest wood in terms of calorie content per kg, higher than even hardwoods like oak and ash, and has a beautiful light amber colour. They burn for 3 - 4 hours in a good stove and produce a steady heat with a good flame. Because they burn very hot and expand slightly in the fire, it is important not to overload your fire box. Each brick measures approximately 65mm x 90mm x 150mm. There are 12 briquettes in a 10kg bag and 96 x 10 kg bags (six rows) on a full pallet. They are very clean and easy to handle. This is a natural product, so a small amount of flaking can be expected. This does not affect product performance. The secret to maximising performance from these briquettes is to get them really hot before turning down the air flow.
