We bought this gorgeous table hoping to restore it to it's original glory. Had previously been painted black by previous owners and as you can see we have made a start with sanding down 4 of the chairs. Unfortunately and regretfully we are selling on to someone who can give it the attention it needs as we just dont have the time or space to do it properly. Will come up lovely with some tlc. This table is an original from my Grandmother, bought in the beginning of 's, a vintage Macintosh Kirkcaldy Scotland piece, in either Teak or Rosewood (I think it may be Teak). The table extends from 6 people to, I would say, happily 8-10 people. Closed the table measures 160cm long x 92cm wide x 73cm wide. There is a minor ring on the top right, I thought it may be the wood marks itself but it may have been from when my Grandmother had it.
