Maxcraft 13ft in excellent condition for its age, on good trailer with guides for an easy retrieve one man job no problem, brand new tyres and Evinrude 8hp s/s . This is a very light boat easily launched by one person and you don't even know your towing it. It's a perfect boat for lake/river or inshore fishing. It has a solid varnished wood removable deck, ores, padded leather seats, little storage compartment in the bow, two rod holders, mooring ropes, anchor chain and rope, fenders along the one side for mooring up, two life jackets, electric bilge pump (not connected). Engine: Evinrude 8hp short shaft in good condition with a few age related marks. This engine starts and runs great, pumps and cools water fine. It's recently had a brand new drive shaft, new impeller, and new plugs costing £123 (receipt to prove). Overall a great little package! Bad points: A few age related marks nothing major at all. Here I have for sale my "ORKNEY" fishing boat complete with SNIPE trailer and EVINRUDE 6HP MOTOR. Motor runs spot on with no lumps or bumps and will do approx mph on a flat, no current river or lake. She is 13ft, small cabin WATER READY fishing boat. Obviously she can be used for whatever you want but I can honestly say she is a good solid craft ready and waiting to be used as a fishing boat for either serious or fun afternoon on the water. She has a couple of crack to her upper layer of fibre glass but this has no reflect on her buoyancy or stability in the water and is a VERY EASY fix for anyone with a bit of fibreglass filler/repair (approx £8) Being honest she wouldn't hurt from a good luck of paint and windows arent great but is perfectly good as she is (it may be just me lol). She doesn't need it by any stretch but hey, if nothing else it makes her your own eh.... Sound, stable fishing boat, recent bespoke cockpit cover made by Sussex Boat Shop, £450 new. 500 kilo Mersea roller trailer, new Spring , costing £. Single folding fishing seat, 2 rod holders. Fully floored. She has a radio cassette player / short wave radio, battery amp meter, running lights, interior light, and electric bilge pump, all charged by a solar panel on roof. There is a hefty new grapnel anchor. It is all ready to go on the water, but there is no engine and hence the low price; I am told a 2 to 3.5 hp engine is adequate to drive it along nicely. It is anti-fouled. Please phone me, Andrew, on or contact me via email address given on the ad. A good Yamaha 3.5 can be had from a seller in Northampton, who we would have bought it from, for £100, but that would be a separate sale and would be to collect separately or buyer pays postage.
