I am a breeder of Cockatiels. My birds are aviary bred and have lived/live in aviary conditions. I have a number of mature birds manly hens of different colours that I wish to find homes for. It must be noted that I am not getting rid of them because they are ill, because they are in good health. Now is the time to find homes before then new breeding season starts. If you wish to consider giving a home to one of these birds, please contact me. You must also remember that if you wish this bird to be a pet in a domestic environment, it will take a special patient home to acclimatize an aviary bird to adjust. You must also remember that this type of bird will tame down but unlikely to be silly tame. This however, does not mean that one of these Cockatiels will not give you fun in the ownership only that it has special challenges. Lottie Lulu is the most beautiful girl in the whole wide world! Very dog like in the way she follows you around and interacts and 'talks' to you. I would love to see her go to a single person in need of companionship or a retired couple as I think she's too old to fit into a boisterous family of children but visitors would be fine as she could find a place to hide until she felt confident enough to join in.
