  Marshall G80R CD - main volume / gain pot.

Amp worked perfectly for over a decade until the gain knob started making noise when adjusted. It has deteriorated since, and is now unusable. A friend of a friend assessed it and stated that it is easily fixable, but doesn't make economic sense. Would be perfect for someone with the tools and skills to repair themselves. All other functions worked perfectly until the volume control issue rendered the amp useless. I own two of these amps, and as I haven't gigged for years I may as well just let this one go to a good home, and keep the working one myself. This amp does not come with the original bundled footswitch
